After completing a 27-page application, supplying financial records, answering follow-up questions, and patiently waiting for several months, we are pleased to announce that Project Cornerstone has been granted tax exemption status by the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) under section 501(c)(3)!

The IRS has determined Project Cornerstone is a Public Charity under section 509(a)(2).

Your annual donations and contributions to Project Cornerstone are deductible under section 170 of the tax code.

Tax exemption status under section 501(c)(3) is extremely important for the organization.  It allows Project Cornerstone to raise substantially more funds by applying for grants to support its mission.
