Science Trek: The Next Generation Conference

On Saturday, February 28, 2015, nearly 500 educators attended the Science Trek: The Next Generation Conference at Grossmont College in El Cajon.

The event brought science educators and administrators together to discuss the Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS) and parts of the Common Core standards that are focused on science.

Project Cornerstone reached many science educators.  Forty three teachers who visited the booth, requested information about having Project Cornerstone visit their classrooms.

The event was sponsored by the San Diego Science Educators Association (SDSEA) and its co-sponsors, San Diego Unified School District, San Diego County Office of Education, the San Diego Science Alliance, and Grossmont College.
